Sure i t was $40, but th e bottom-located spout means no tipping needed, and unlike those dumb no-spill ones you don’t have to break your thumb on the button to get the valve open . Also it’s made in the U.S.. Go buy one.*

That’s a pretty genius design

They also sell replacement spout and trigger assemblies for dirt cheap so in theory this could be the last gas can I buy.

Clever design! Going through some of the 1-star reviews over on Amazon , I see some concerns about the spout cap being hard to remove, but I came across a YouTube comment from the company claiming that they’ve redesigned it so that’s no longer an issue. How’s yours?
I also see some reviews claiming valve/spout failures, resulting in complete loss of fuel. That’s much more disconcerting, and I haven’t seen any mentions of a redesign to put my mind at ease about it. Are there any warnings about the can not being intended for long-term storage?

The spout cap is a push-down-to-turn screw cap, like a pill bottle. No warnings, but t hey sell replacement spout assemblies for $8 on their site.

Only issue I see is as the can ages with ethanol fuels, that elbow gasket will fail and leak the contents of the can out. But otherwise looks decent.

I have one of these cans for now and can agree that it is the greatest can ever. I just cannot replace all my 8 or so cans at once with these, but would love to. Makes filling the diesel tractor way easier. I don’t get why the yellow diesel can was even more expensive however.

I’m a huge fan of these steel cans with the built-in funnel.
